A Prison Asteroid is a maximum security asteroid in the Critters universe.

Prison Asteroid-Sector 17 is run by Warden Zanti in Critters (1986). Eight Crites are transferred to the S17 by way of Prison Transport 9961. Upon arriving to the Warden’s Prison Asteroid, they are met with Shock Control.[1] However, the Control team is overcome by the Crites, who blow the termination locks and escape with one of their fastest ships. The Warden gives an order to summon the Bounty Hunters. But with plenty of fuel, the Crites have a head start and find Earth.
